Dear Friends and Family,
2025 was an up and down year for our family.
We both still enjoy living at Goldman House/ A Hebrew Senior Life location. It’s so good to have a safety net at this time of life.
Rich, recovered from his major health scare of 2024, made up for lost time by booking an active concert schedule within a 2 hour driving range from home. Rich still works a hybrid schedule for Jedwards International, where he has been for almost 9 years. He is continually asked when he will retire. The answer: not in the foreseeable future.
Susan was honored to receive the 2025 Cornerstone Award for Historic Preservation from Chatham University, her undergraduate alma mater, in October. She continues her consulting work with History Behind the Scenes. Her team is working on a San Antonio based project (Casa Navarro State Historic Site) for the Texas Historical Commission (THC)
Susan ran into major issues with her left shoulder, which impacted her guitar playing and other aspects of daily and musical life. She had shoulder replacement surgery in August which put her out of commission for most of the fall. Physical therapy is still ongoing, and she is just starting to pick at the guitar again. The good news is that the pain is gone and she can lift her arm over her head. She’ll return to Community College music classes at the end of January.
Somehow, three of our grandchildren are now well into their teens. Sword (17) is now a high school junior and planning for college! They will begin making art school visits this spring. Ben and Vishnu (both 15) are freshmen – and into all things digital. Sunny (12) will join our teen crew in July.
The rest of the family is doing well. Andrea and Bobby continue their artistic careers. Follow them at www.andreakleine.com, and www.bobbyprevite.com. Hilary is now Executive Vice President at Donate Life America. Jared and Seema continue their work as an attorney and art history professor in New York City.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year and better times for 2026.
